Student Membership | The Massachusetts Association of Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurses (MAAPPN)

If you’re in graduate school studying for a career as an advanced practice psychiatric nurse, joining The Massachusetts Association of Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurses (MAAPPN) as a student member is a smart move. Membership in MAAPPN provides many benefits including access to helpful resources, networking, job boards, legislative representation and updates, and information that isn’t taught in the classroom.

The student membership provides all the benefits of professional membership at a special student rate.  Student members must be enrolled full-time in a graduate psychiatric nursing program at an accredited college or university, or a part-time student who is not engaged in full-time employment as a certified professional.

As an introduction to MAAPPN we invite you to join us on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 for a very special evening.  Our guest speaker will be founding MAAPPN member, Dr. Jeanne Watson Driscoll, PhD, PMHCNS-BC.  If you have not had the opportunity to hear Jeanne present previously we promise that you are in for a very special evening on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Papa Razzi in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

The cost for this event for students is $25.00 and includes dinner.  This special event will give you the opportunity to network with established Psychiatric CNSs and NPs, as well as the opportunity to listen to one of the most respected women in the field of psychiatric-mental health nursing.  To register click on the following link https://maappn.com/product/one-time-non-member-student-fee-june-7-2016/.
