MAAPPN is announcing a last minute change in our September 19th meeting schedule. Unfortunately Dr. Maureen Beirne Streff, EdD, RN, MSN, PMHCNS, BC, our keynote speaker, fractured her ankle and won’t be able to speak at the meeting as scheduled.
Instead, we will have a timely presentation by Al Wroblewski of the Massachusetts eHealth Institute on how to apply for the lump sum $21,250 per provider incentive for using or switching to electronic health records, with an additional lump sum of $8,500 per year possible for up to 5 more years. If just over 30 percent of your billed visits during a 90-day period in the past year were for patients with Mass Health-subsidized plans (including Neighborhood Health Plan and other Beacon plans) you may qualify. Deadline is end of 2016.
Our meeting will be on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Scarlet Oak Tavern in Hingham, Massachusetts.
