Our Mission
The purpose and mission of the Massachusetts Association of Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurses (MAAPPN) is to engage advanced practice psychiatric nurses, students and faculty in the following activities:
- To promote higher standards of psychiatric health care for children and adults
- T0 support and advance the federal and state legislation which insures quality, cost effective health care for all persons; and
- To act as a resource center for legislative activity, standards of practice, educational programs, insurance reimbursement and other information relevant to the practice of psychiatric clinical nurse specialists and nurse practitioners.
